Experienced Analytical Chemist
About the role
As an Analytical Chemist, you will be responsible for developing, validating, and executing analytical methods to support drug development projects. You’ll work with a wide range of techniques such as HPLC, titration and dissolution testing across different stages of pharmaceutical development.
Your work will directly support formulation development, stability studies, release testing, and regulatory documentation. You will work in close collaboration with formulation scientists, QA, and project managers to ensure the delivery of high-quality data and scientifically sound results.
This role offers a mix of hands-on lab work and scientific thinking, with room to grow into method development, troubleshooting, and client interaction.

Who are you?
Are you an experienced analytical chemist with a hands-on mindset and a passion for solving analytical challenges? We are looking for a versatile and proactive professional who can strengthen our lab team and help us push our analytical capabilities to the next level.
You bring proven expertise in HPLC analysis, and ideally also experience with other techniques such as titration and/or dissolution. With several years of working in an, preferably GMP qualified, analytical laboratory under your belt, you’ve built a strong track record in method development, optimization, and troubleshooting.
You’re not just about routine work you’re someone who sees opportunities for improvement and isn’t afraid to roll up your sleeves to make it happen. Whether it’s refining methods, supporting QA, or stepping into R&D when needed, you’re ready to contribute wherever you’re most valuable.
Besides a positive and hand-on mentality, you also have:
- A BsC, MsC or PhD in analytical Chemistry.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience with (U)HPLC.
- Experience with EmPower is preferred.
- Preferably experience with other techniques like titration and/or dissolution.
- Work experience within a GMP or pharmaceutical laboratory is preferred.
- (Technical) reporting skills; written and verbally.
- You can work independently.
